Backstory
Siba was born in the Suriyanaa unit as a small sickly child, long of frame and with a patch of shining black hair. The older people in the unit knew that with her frame, she would be a tall one. What they didn't realize would be that she wouldn't stop growing. Or putting on muscle. Young Siba slid easily into the hobby of weight lifting and was one of the strongest swimmers her superiours had ever seen. Still, as she kept growing, problems arose. Everything was too small for her. She was always hungry. When she finally stopped growing about a year ago, she stood at 6 foot 7. The unit pitched in to give her a surgery to shorten her a bit, as they knew her life was going to be hard as it was. Four inches were removed from her shin, and pressurized air shock absorbers were placed down the bone to help distribute the force of carrying such a large load.

Siba was bed ridden for four months, couldn't lift weights or swim or dance. In deseperation, she started to sew, making little stuffed animals. She found that her hands, though large, had a certain knack for the work and soon she was making them all the time. While the idea was to give them to the kids in her unit, and she did this a lot, most of the creations ended up staying in her foot locker. The feely vids her unit left her helped as well.

Having finally finished up therapy a year later, Siba is looking forward to getting back to school and back to the ocean. There are few things she hates more than being useless.

Personality
Siba is very preoccupied with how the ship sees her. It defines how she speaks and acts. She's very quiet and moves deliberately and tries not to look anyone in the eye, as she realizes she's rather imposing.

Siba's very bashful and for the most part, would rather just listen to her head phones or swim than talk to people, more out of ignorance of the act than actual antisocial behavior. If someone lets her, she loves to talk about music probably more than anything else. About what she loves, and the ways it's been changing, and whether this band is any good or not.
Siba likes boys a lot. But because of her inability to talk to people, this normally manifests itself as nothing more than longing looks and very awkward conversations. She fares easier with her unit brothers, mainly because she sees them more as family than objects of affection.
A rather sweet girl, if she only knew how to talk to people.

Description
Siba is incredibly tall and broad of shoulder. Though the surgery brought her back into the green band height wise, she still has arms as thick as some boys' legs and shoulders that you could rest girders on. She has very black hair that is in tight curls making it very easy to shave into patterns. She wears the back part in tight braids. Her skin is a lighter coffee color, and her eyes are large brown orbs. She burns fat very quickly, and thus is a bit on the leaner side, much to her dismay. She desperately wishes she looked a little softer and is scared everyone's scared of her. She has two main tattoos, the "Dog's Jaw" that wreaths her face, and sun flashes on her shoulders and elbows. The dog's jaw represents endurance, which she has in spades, and the sun flashes are a traditional marking of power. Both are fairly obvious. Siba is always trying her best to take up as little space as possible.

Goals
Siba mainly wants to finish school and figure out what she wants to do as a job. She also wants to get back into competitive swimming now that her therapy's done. And make a few more friends. Like any friends.
